With the familial connection and the feel for the groove, The Doggett Brothers have become a hot commodity in the UK over the past few years for their funk and dance music. And now, with their upcoming album Get High – which features the help of ST Faves Nate James and Jarrod Lawson — Greg and Carl Doggett are vying for attention on both sides of the pond.
The first single from the new project is an uptempo number that recalls the 80s jams from the peak days of SOLAR records (think Midnight Star or Lakeside). “Get High” features Nate James on lead vocals and sports an infectious beat that is getting us moving in our seats.
