(August 29, 2017) Philadelphia’s DJ Aktive has been spinning professionally for 18 years, and his ascent in DJ circles has taken him around the world, working with some of the biggest names in popular music, from Janet Jackson to Common to John Legend.
One of the great singers he has supported over the years is returning the favor on Aktive’s infectious new single. Marsha Ambrosius, who has been a star both as a solo artist and as one-half of Floetry, shines on a grooving midtempo, produced by Ivan Barris, that combines elements of R&B and hip-hop, along with fantastic harmonies that go on for days.
