“AgapéSoul fans asked for a Christmas song, but we wanted to do it our way. ‘Only One’ is a contemporary Christmas song originally written and recorded by gospel group Mary Mary, but once we started to work on an arrangement we realized that was the ideal song for us to put our sound on, and to express our feelings about the Christmas miracle.”
Those are the words of veteran producer/musician Darryl Anders, who, withhis band AgapéSoul, has helped make 2018 a great year for soul music lovers. Their album Conversation is terrific and we’ve featured their two hit singles over the past few months.
