(December 14, 2014) The rumors about D’Angelo’s upcoming album, Black Messiah, have been circulating for weeks, and a tweet today by Q-Tip, who collaborated on the album, increased the pitch. Q-Tip’s tween indicated that the project will be issued tonight.
D’Angelo did nothing to suppress the rumors, and even leaked a new song from the album, “Sugah Daddy.” And tonight there will reportedly be an invitation-only listening party for the album.
