(November 19, 2017) We’ve been fans of talented singer and songwriter Conya Doss since Day One of SoulTracks, and our readers have agreed, making her a SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award winner.
It’s been awhile since we’ve heard new music from Conya, but she is now working on her eighth album, slated for release in 2018. That alone gets us excited, but even better is that she’s given us a sneak peek with the first single from the album, the very nice midtempo, “I’m Trying.”
Conya tells us about the single, “’I’m Trying’ is dear to me because it speaks volumes as where my state of mind is right now. Forever, a student of life trying learn more, trying to live better, and trying to do better, Just trying to be…”
