(March 13, 2026) Last summer, we happily re-introduced SoulTrackers to UK soul man Conner Reeves after a 27 year absence with the song “The Sweetest Invasion.” It presaged his comeback album Ten Thousand Days and The Church of The Restoration, and gave his longtime fans reason to celebrate his return from several years away.
Now Reeves is readying a deluxe version of the album with four new tracks, including a reworking of the song “Slow Lightning” in a duet form with singer extraordinaire Joss Stone. The two artists had first worked together more than two decades ago on her smash album Mind, Body & Soul, and developed a musical friendship that continues to this day.
Stone says: “Conner is a beautiful person inside and out. I have learnt so much from him over the years – it’s a pleasure and a privilege to work with him on this great song.”
The deluxe album, titled More Than Ten Thousand Days and the Church of Restoration, will be released on April 17, and we simply can’t wait to hear more from Conner Reeves. But for now, check out “Slow Lightning” below.
