September 13, 2017 – Some musicians can pull you into their world, and hold you delightfully captive there, using only the sincerity and unique nature of their artistry. The UK’s Chisara Agor is just such an artist.
Agor, an independent singer and songwriter who resides in Southeast London, released her debut EP Seasons in 2015 and followed up late last year with the record Natural Disturbance. Her music reflects soul, jazz and folk influences, and she favors spare arrangements that put the focus on her compelling voice and poetic lyrics.
We feature here Chisara performing live her song “Begin,” an arresting ballad that she delivers beautifully with just her voice and ukulele. Enjoy.
