(March 15, 2020) Music has a way of bringing people together during times of concern, trouble or stress.  Messages of hope, peace and love can help to calm the most serious if storms. In the wake of the Coronavirus impacting our society, Carl Brister’s latest single comes at the perfect time.

“L.O.V.E. (What The World Needs) is a midtempo retro-soul cut written by Brister that will draw comparisons to “What’s Going On” or “Visions” in its plea to create a world where love is the answer for what we are experiencing. There is a desperation and plea in Brister’s vocals that is both refreshing and necessary. As he sings about how “hate divides but love is the one that unifies,” it sounds like an earnest call for help.  His ability to speak to our social and political challenges while showcasing his vocal dexterity will undoubtedly make “L.O.V.E.” resonate throughout the rest of this year.
