(February 13, 2020) Actor Titus Makin, aka Butterfly Ali has been a regular on television via such shows at Glee, Grey’s Anatomy, and currently a regular role on ABC’s The Rookie. But he is also an LA-based singer and songwriter who cites Marvin Gaye, PJ Morton and Leon Bridges as musical inspirations.
He shows his broad palette of musical taste with his newest single, “Righteous,” an energetic single that skirts elements of soul, funk and classic pop. And on the song he uses his talent to take aim at those who instinctively judge, defiantly standing his ground with a look to the future.
