It’s been awhile since we heard new music from smooth soul man Brian McKnight. He’s performing with Keith Sweat in concert these days while getting ready for an African tour.
But he’s now found time to release a brand new single that we think will make his longtime fans happy. “Uh Oh Feeling” is a romantic midtempo about that warm feeling of discovering you’re in love for the first time. It is a light song with a classic pop/soul vibe and strong vocals up front. We’ve been only so-so on some of his releases in the past few years, but this song by the venerable Mr. McKnight is definitely making us smile.
