Bill McGee has been a fixture in the soul and jazz worlds for four decades. As lead trumpeter on countless songs and tours with artists ranging from Evelyn Champagne King to the O’Jays to Patti LaBelle, he has charmed audiences for a long, long time.
Bill began his solo career 15 years ago and he’s been impressing us ever since. He has a new album with a classic soul title, Still Bill. And he leads off the album with a funky, jazzy cut that is a tribute to the great Herbie Hancock. It is a song that is sure to get you moving.
