Producer and songwriter Bey Bright was inspired by Quincy Jones and his albums that featured a plethora of stars and a great mixture of musical styles. So a couple of years ago, Bey began creating his own “producer’s albums,” and he scored big with Nu Indie Soul Vol 1 and Vol 2.
Bey is now back with another new album of tasty adult soul gems called Nu Indie Soul Vol. 3, which teams the talented writer and producer with such vocalists and Anissa Hargrove, Ezinne, Nia Simmons and Tia Dae.
Right now we’re enjoying the tasty midtempo song featuring Bléz. “Special” has a vibe like classic 80s cuts by bands like The SOS Band. We think SoulTrackers are definitely going to dig it.
