(January 5, 2023) Bey Bright makes another one for the steppers set with his latest, “Just a Little Bit.” The tune is a mid-tempo love song aimed directly at the ears and hearts of people who love ballroom dancing. Bright lends his sweet baritone to this track that finds him wanting to savor a taste of love from his bae.
People, and especially us guys, can have a hard time expressing the feelings of love heard in this song. Of course, it’s no surprise to anyone who know the Bey Bright biography that he knows the right thing to say. In addition to being a Grammy nominated artist and producer, singer, songwriter and indie label executive, Bright is also a best-selling author who often writes about love and relationships.
Steppers rose to national popularity at a time when folks desired music that encouraged couples to dance as… couples. There is an intimacy that Bright ushers into the came with the smooth swing and jazz saxophone riffs heard on “Just a Little Bit.” Couples might dance with other people throughout the night, but the sentiments Bright expresses on “Just a Little Bit” will lead you back to the one you came with and the one you plan to leave with.
