(March 2, 2020) Songwriter Byram Joseph (aka Slakah The Beatchild) has made a name for himself as a musician and producer for artists ranging from Drake to Divine Brown, but he is now the frontman of the R&B collective Beatchild & The Slakadeliqs. And on the band’s new single “The Only Difference,” they combine a universal message with a classic soul sound.
Joined by acoustic rock singer Justin Nozuka, Beatchild & The Slakadeliqs have created a song that is both timely and timeless. They tell us, “The feeling of the song is one of coming together during difficult times and looking beyond our perceived differences. I wanted the video to reflect that feeling of human connection and hope to inspire people to take care of one another.”
