(June 10, 2017) DC-born, West Virginia-raised singer Ayla West, possesses a powerful alto voice that she honed in churches in both cities. She had her first national showcase when she performed on the Showtime at the Apollo television show and followed with competition wins on the BET Soundstage and in the DC completion for NBC’s The Voice
We’re just discovering Ayla now, via her new single, “I’ll Wait.” It is an excellent midtempo with an 80s groove and just the right backdrop for her on point vocals.
