(April 25, 2019) Auteria Wally Winzer Jr. has been gracing the music industry with his work since the early 80s, having supported a virtual “who’s who” of major R&B and jazz artists ranging from El DeBarge to Glenn Jones to Frank McComb. More recently, the Bay Area multi-instrumentalist has been releasing music on his own, and that continues with his latest, “Be As One.”
“Be As One” has a classic 80s R&B vibe, and a late night, blue-lights-in-the-basement vibe, with vocalist Pam Neal providing expressive vocals upfront and saxman Melecio Magdaluyo adding jazzy flourishes. The song should find a welcome home on Quiet Storm radio and on the nighttime playlists of many SoulTrackers.
