Over the last few years, SoulTrackers have gotten to know the name Michael J. Calhoun, and they’ve definitely responded. The Grammy Award winning Cleveland native is a founding member of Kinsman Dazz (later The Dazz Band) and is an amazing guitarist in his own right.
More recently, Michael has worked with his band, Kinsman Dazz All Stars (which had a big hit a few years ago with the great “Soul Jam”), and has also created a strong solo career in the Gospel world, with a series of moving singles that have won him another legion of fans around the world.
Michael has a brand new EP coming that should please both his R&B and Gospel fans. “Saved” has the musicianship that fans have come to expect, along with powerful vocals and a message about the promise of eternal life for us – good news, indeed.
