Singer supreme Karen Bernod is one of those artists who has established a reputation not only with fans but with her peers. Legends from Chaka to Mary J to D’Angelo to Erykah have had some of their best music graced by Karen’s sweet supporting tones, and notably Karen performed lead vocals on a number of tracks for the iconic collective Incognito.

But we at SoulTracks have mostly closely followed Karen as an artist on the front of the stage. Her three delicious albums have won over our reviewers and our readers over the years.

On October 21, Karen will be releasing LYFE REMIXED, an album of hot new remixes of tracks from her hit 2006 album Life @ 360 Degrees. It is a welcome return of an artist who has staked her claim as a truth teller and a fearless performer. Karen will be issuing singles from the album – one per month – for the next few months, and it all begins June 24 with a remix of “Comfort Zone,” a chilled out, sensual number that calls on a lover for a night of romance.

Check out “Comfort Zone (6th Sense Remix),” our newest SoulTracks Choice Cut, and enjoy this one-of-a-kind singer all over again.
