Producer, arranger and keyboardist Hubert Eaves III stands as one of the quiet architects of modern R&B and dance music. He’s worked with a who’s who of great artists, but he may be best known as co-founder of the popular 80s group D-Train.
Hubert has released “Still Together” as both and EP and CD, following his recent EP Hubert Eaves III Drops (Volume One). “Still Together” is a midtempo jam that gives honor to those couples who have stuck it out through thick and thin.
Featuring R&B singer Brian John, “Still Together” tells the familiar story of a couple looking back with marvel at the blessing of a long life together (“We were only children when we turned to say I do”). Hubert tells us: “’Still Together’ is a couples celebration song. I call it the new love anthem we’ve been waiting for, LOL.”
