Singer, keyboardist and songwriter Chris Jasper became a Hall of Famer for his work as a foundational member of two legendary groups: The Isley Brothers and Isley/Jasper/Isley. Chris went on three decades ago to a memorable solo career, that has incorporated 14 terrific albums to date.
Well, we’ve been anxiously awaiting album #15 from Chris, and it arrives this month with Dance With You, a disc that highlights Chris’s songwriting skills, as he conquers various styles and tempos, all of which work well. SoulTrackers went crazy for the first single, “The Love That You Give,” but there is much, much more to like on this album. It sounds like another hit to us.
