A child singing star of the 80s, Stacy Lattisaw wrapped her bright, expressive voice around a string of hits that took her to the top of the R&B charts. Signed to the Cotillion label at just age 12, Lattisaw became an instant charttopper with songs like “Let Me Be Your Angel” and “Love On A Two Way Street.” The songs gave the DC native a strong career that carried into her early 20s. She also helped introduce the world to her childhood friend, Johnny Gill, with whom she recorded an album of duets, Perfect Combination.
As an adult, Stacy focused her singing on Gospel music, and was the subject of one of the early episodes of TV One’s “Unsung.”
