Robert Jenkins is a Connecticut-based multi-instrumentalist who, following his graduation from Berklee College of Music worked with legendary R&B producer Kashif. Jenkins went on to become a popular session musician, recording with Case, Calvin Richardson, Philip Bailey and Jimmie Vaughn
After several years backing other, Jenkins released his debut album, Because It Feels So Right. He described the title as follows: "It is an album with two meanings. First: A man who is ready to LOVE because it feels right, not just because the woman is so beautiful, or a need to conform. Second: This is an album that Robbie wanted to do. It takes influnces from R&B, POP, and RETRO, rather than make an album simply targeted to a group of buyers."
