Winner of the 2012 Omaha Entertainment Award for Best Soul/R&B, Lucas Kellison brings a unique rendition of soul music to the stage and studio, alike. A multi-instrumentalist, producer, and engineer, Kellison’s sound is driven by a gritty rhythm section, soaring harmonies, and infectious funk. Having shared the stage with such acts as George Clinton/PFunk, Gorillaz, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Gladys Knight, Boyz II Men and countless others, Kellison is a young-yet-seasoned vet–with a loaded funk band–ready to make his way to the gig circuit. Now playing live with his band, The Undisco Kids, Kellison is setting out to release his next album, T.Y.R.A., in early 2013. The 17-song opus album features two songs with George Clinton/Pfunk, and others with Leela James and Dead Prez.
