Simplysoulmusic is a fusion of jazz, soul and r&b. It is without a doubt the type of music that will get your shoulders in motion and your mind thinking. In a time of auto tune we have forgotten the sweetness and the truth of live performance with true vocals and a soul-stirring band. Introducing, kashan -the mastermind of this simplysoul entity! Upon moving to New York in 2007, kashan has gone from being the "Naked Performer" (accapella ) to having the simplysoulband which is combined of other independent artists also with their own projects; but working as a part of thesimplysoul family. They have garnered success performing throughout the Burroughs of New York City at venues such as The Sugar Bar, The Shrine, Kenny’s Castaways & other venues in Brooklyn . The set entails kashans’ originally written music and the occasional ole school artist cover always to pay homage to the greats we walk behind! In essence kashan is serious about social change and realizes the importance of expressing it thru the music and respects all avenues that artistry can meet and promote truth.
