Born and raised in Georgia, Carletta is a talented singer whose passion for music has been evident since childhood. From choir concerts and private parties to national competitions, Carletta’s vocal abilities have earned her numerous accolades, including first place awards in various genres such as Opera, Pop, Italian, Jazz, and R&B.
Carletta’s journey in the music industry has seen her perform in orchestra concerts by Georgia State University and become a member of the esteemed Georgia Mass Choir. She has graced the stages of prestigious events and private gatherings, including the Sweet Auburn, where she captivated the audience with her original song “Love Me.” In 2024, Carletta will be releasing her highly anticipated single “Take Me to Another Place,” a composition she personally crafted and copyrighted back in 2018.
Carletta’ album titled “The Adventures of a Soul Sister” was released year 2023 and currently on so major platforms.
With a collection of 10 original songs copyrighted since 1995, Carletta is a proud member of BMI and ASCAP. Although she chose to prioritize raising her family during the 90s, Carletta is now ready to pursue her music career once again. In addition to her musical endeavors, Carletta is the proud owner of CSpot Studio Entertainment & Production, LLC.
Carletta’s talent and dedication have not gone unnoticed, as she was nominated for the SoulTracks 2023 New Artist Reader’s Choice Award. Collaborating with renowned producer John Carey, Carletta has released six beautiful songs that have gained recognition in the UK. She is currently working on creating captivating music videos for her original compositions, including “Take Me to Another Place,” “Love Me,” “The Only One For Me,” and “You Are My Dad.”
Beyond her musical prowess, Carletta showcases her creativity and versatility by producing videos for herself and other local artists and entrepreneurs. Her skills extend to writing, laying tracks, mixing, and mastering, making her a multifaceted artist. Carletta has also honed her talents in theater, performing as both a background vocalist and soloist.
Known for her unique style, Carletta designs and creates her own novelties, from badges, shirts, and hats to special graphics and outfits for her performances. Her love for Vegas-inspired costumes is evident in her handcrafted headpieces and specialty attire. Additionally, Carletta’s artistic abilities extend to videography, video editing, and photography. She possesses expertise in decoration, set design, prop building, and even has a background in building construction thanks to her father’s teachings.
Having gained IT experience and corporate executive roles working with various attorneys, Carletta’s music career is a testament to her unwavering dedication and faith in God’s providence. She is determined to continue sharing her passion for music as long as the opportunity allows.
