Big Band Splash is based in Stockholm, Sweden. Leader, arranger and producer is saxophonist Jakob Norgren.
Two albums were previously released under the name Jakob Norgren Big Band Splash (2005 & 2007). The music then was a mix of contemporary jazz, soul and even some electronica. From 2010 the name of the band is just Big Band Splash, and focus is on soul/r&b/souljazz.
