An Apple A Day

Official Biography (courtesy of An Apple A Day)

“An Apple A Day” is a funk/soul collaboration between friends and record labelmates Paolo Apollo Negri, Craig Kristensen, Kapper Dapper and Mario Percudani.

In 2008 Paolo, Craig and Kapper came together on the project “Fred Leslie’s missing Link” and released the album “Fat Lip” for Hammondbeat Records and played several gigs around Europe with outfit, from the Pigalle Club in London to the Purple Weekend Festival in Spain touching France, Denmark and Germany on the way. After reaching some radio success on BBC, largely due to heavy rotation from “The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show”, the band decided to come together again, and “An Apple A Day” is the result of this. The album “Yes We Can” is, much like “Fat Lip”, also a funk/soul album that consists of a variety of cover tracks, each featuring one of todays most talented vocalists. The key idea was to merge modern music with old classics, taking inspirations from a wide background and shaking everything together to get a modern funk album that rocks!
The band will be on stage promoting the release in 2013 so stay tuned!
