Osé is a Nigerian-born, Toronto-raised singer-songwriter who grew up singing in church. She occupies an intimate musical lane that emphasizes melody, emotional storytelling, and groove, borrowing accents from West Africa while remaining rooted in contemporary soul. On “cease & desist,” she builds a supple, hypnotic groove that quietly blends neo-soul with Afro-fusion and Caribbean influences.
