March 15, 2023 – Welcome back to Another Groove, our series focused on new music that is neither pure soul nor R&B but which contains elements of those genres and may please your ears. This week we feature the track “Sayin My Name” by the artist MAUIMØON.
MAUIMØON is a singer/songwriter from Uganda whose early influences include Pharrell, Timbaland and Missy Elliot. His music is a compelling blend of Afro-pop, R&B and hip hop, atop which he places his mesmerizing and mellifluous vocals.
