She has been a SoulTracks favorite for over a decade, and it is always a big deal around here when we hear new music from Phoenix, Arizona-based singer and songwriter Teri Tobin. And while Teri has graced us with a number of great singles over the past few years, it has incredibly been eleven years since Teri’s last album, Truth Is. Happily, that drought ends now with her great new release, Forever.
Featuring the hit single “Goodmorning, Love” as well as the new radio release, “This Life With You,” Forever shows an artist at the peak of her powers. Teri’s vocals are beautifully rich, as always, and she demonstrates her ample skills on a collection of songs that cover life as we experience it, from family to love to faith to self-empowerment. And she brings on an A-List of collaborators for the project, including SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award winner Darien Dean, Lin Rountree, Shawn Hibbler, Lorenzo Johnson and more.
Teri says about Forever, “This album is about more than just romantic love—it’s about the love we give ourselves, the love we learn from our ancestors, and the kind of love that stands the test of time. It’s been a long time coming, but Forever is a labor of love that I’m so excited to share.”
