SoulTrackers just love their Will Downing. He is the most awarded recipient ever in the SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Awards, and, 28 albums into his incredible career, he finds welcoming audiences everywhere he goes. So it is a big deal around here when there is new WD music coming, and that goes for his brand new EP Still In Love.
Will considers his music to be a form of “Couples Therapy,” and on Still in Love, he delivers a five gems that provide inspiration to those couples may have begun to drift – maybe taking each other for granted – reminding them of the kinds of actions and gesture that can sustain or even reignite a relationship.
And it doesn’t hurt that Will’s songwriting and singing are as sharp as ever, beginning with the hit first single, “Back To Us,” a cool number that takes a couple through a walk back through their early days of love, and right through the tasty “It Really Doesn’t Matter,” “Us Time,” “Vibe With You,” and “You’re All I Need.”
