Binky is the son of the late Curtis Womack of The Womack Brothers and has made a career for himself as a top tier session guitarist.
Binky’s career transitioned from backing his father and his uncle, Bobby Womack, to working with stars like Usher and Snoop Dogg. And as a solo artist, he has become a SoulTracks favorite, with every album displaying his killer guitar work and a sound that harkens on the best elements of blues, southern soul and R&B.
Binky embraces his family legacy with his new album, The Last Valentino, a reference to his father’s legendary 60s vocal group. And the disc shows him to be an amazing combination of the classic and the current, with a combination of new compositions and covers that simply electrify.
