It’s still early in 2022, but BluDazz is already on a roll. The brainchild of Dazz Band co-founder Michael J. Calhoun and Wayne Preston, BluDazz has been lighting up the charts with a sound that has won over SoulTrackers. And as the band’s name says, there are elements of blues, dance and jazz in BluDazz’s music, and we’ve been loving their recent string of hits.
As we await the upcoming debut BluDazz album, we have another sneak peek that may be our favorite cut so far from the band. “Turn It Up” is an absolute dance jam, with a bit of a Chic feel, and great vocals that go on for days, courtesy of original Kinsman Dazz members Wayne Preston and Michael J. Calhoun.
