Hey SoulTrackers! We’re moving on decade by decade to pick the greatest soul music of all time. Last time you came out in force to choose the Greatest Songs of the 60s, and now we’re looking for your choices of the Greatest Soul Songs of the 1970s. This was arguably the greatest decade for soul music, with incredible artists from Marvin Gaye to Earth Wind & Fire making music that folks are still listening to today.
So here’s your chance to nominate your favorites! In early March we’ll be posting a list of the Best Soul Songs of the 1970s from which SoulTrackers can vote, but we want you to help us come up with that list. In the comment section below, tell us your choices of songs that should be on that list.
