Thanks for voting! The 2014 SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Awards, the biggest awards in the world dedicated to independent soul music. This year’s finalists are superb and represent all that is great about Soul Music in 2014. To be nominated, an artist must have released a project (or had the project reach its commercial peak) between October 1, 2013 and September 30, 2014. And other than the Major Label Album of the Year, all other nominees must have released their music independently (i.e., not on a major label).
