(June 26, 2019) Longtime SoulTrackers know that we have a special place in our hearts for Eric Roberson. Erro has consistently delivered the goods for two decades, creating music that is timely but which never panders to the latest trends. It's a rare gift he has continued to display over the years, and he has combined with a special mission to help lift up other indie soul artists. That combination of talent and heart has helped give him the nickname the King of Indie Soul, and it is a mantle that he has worn well.

It's a rare gift he has continued to display over the years, and he has combined with a special mission to help lift up other indie soul artists. That combination of talent and heart has helped give him the nickname the King of Indie Soul, and it is a mantle that he has worn well.

The last we heard from Erro, he was delivering an ambitious set of three EPs that became big hits with SoulTrackers. And now he is readying a brand new project called LNS that we're anxiously waiting to hear. In the meantime, he is giving folks a teaser with his brand new single, "Leave It In." In a fun video shot in Chicago by longtime Erro collaborators Chris + Blaq, "Leave It In" tells the story of Mr. Roberson escorting talented young singer Lauren Talese to a club, only to be upstaged by a DJ played by...Eric Roberson.

You'll enjoy following the plot and the video, which includes cameos by soul notables such as singer DMo and Chicago music man Duane Powell. We won't spoil it all for you. Check it out below, and welcome the great Eric Roberson back to SoulTracks!
